ADDENDUM NO. 1 Design-Build RFQ #26-1 Morello Park Elementary School T.K. Building Project and Alhambra High School New Gymnasium Project Martinez Unified School District Martinez, California August 25, 2025 This addendum shall supersede all previously issued specifications, addenda, and drawings wherein this addendum contradicts previously issued documents. All other conditions remain unchanged. The following changes, modifications, corrections, clarifications, and / or additions as set forth herein shall apply to the above documents and shall be made a part thereof and shall be subject to all the requirements thereof as though originally specified and / or shown. QUESTIONS AND CLARIFICATIONS: 1.01 Would this be a stipulated sum design build or a progressive design build? A Stipulated Sum Design Build. 1.02 At this phase in the pursuit, we are hoping to provide a pool of potential MEP Subcontractors to provide the best possible pricing for the District. Would we be able to include additional subconsultants in the Proposal phase? Or are we limited to those subconsultants we include in the qualifications submittal? Yes, short-listed firms can submit additional MEP subcontractors during the RFP stage. 1.03 Item C.1 requests an audited financial statement for the past two years for the Design/Builder and each entity Member. Is it acceptable to provide financial statements for the General Contractor only? Yes, separate General Contractor and Design Professional financial statements are acceptable in lieu of Design-Build Entity financial statement. 1.04 Are forms A-1 and A-2 required for both General Contractor and Architect of Record, or only applicable to the GC at this time?
