REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL WEARABLE PANIC BUTTON SAFETY SYSTEM The City of Methuen - Public School District invites sealed proposals from qualified vendors for a comprehensive wearable panic button safety system to be deployed across all school district facilities. Specifications and RFP forms may be obtained on or after Monday, Monday, October 5, 2026, via download on the City’s website www.methuen.gov/purchasing. All potential proposers must be registered as a plan holder through this link. The proposals must be either typed or printed in ink. The proposals must be filled out and signed as directed therein, sealed in 2 separate envelope plainly marked “RFP-Wearable Panic Button Safety System – Technical Proposal – NO PRICE" and one envelope containing the price proposal marked "RFP – Wearable Panic Button Safety System – Price Proposal" addressed to the Office of the City Clerk, Searles Building, 41 Pleasant Street, Room 112, Methuen, MA 01844, and endorsed with the name and address of the proposer. Sealed Proposals must be received by the City Clerk no later than Wednesday, October 21, 2026 @ 11:00AM Proposals filled out and left with the deposit as above directed, and no other, will be opened at Methuen City Hall on the 3rd floor (Great Hall), 41 Pleasant Street, Methuen, MA 01844 on Wednesday, October 21,2026 @ 11:00AM. The Price proposal will not be opened until the RFP’s are evaluated. The City of Methuen – Public School District reserves the right to reject any and all proposals or to waive any informalities in the proposal if it is deemed to be in the best interest for the City to do so. No proposals may be withdrawn within 30 days, Saturdays, Sundays and legal holidays excluded, after the opening of bids. The bidding and award of this Contract will be under the provisions of M.G.L., Chapter 30B.
