NWACC RFP-24-002 Athletic Feasibility Study Vendor Questions and Answers Vendor Question 1. Solicitation Item 1.1 – What are the institution’s existing club/intramural athletic programs? What are the roster numbers associated with these club/intramural athletic programs? Vendor Answer 1. Club Program-Esports. Currently has 49 registered participants. This club launched in September 2023 so participant numbers are still fluctuating. Esports will compete as an NJCAAE Tier 2 Program this Spring. Vendor Question 2. Solicitation Item 1.13 – Does the prime contractor need to meet the minimum requirements laid out in Did this question cut off? Vendor Answer 2. Prime Contractor must meet the minimum requirements for the proposal to be accepted for evaluation consideration. Vendor Question 3. Solicitation Item 1.3 - What is NWACC’s definition of a “single supplier”? Vendor Answer 3. The bid will be awarded to only one vendor. Vendor Question 4. Solicitation Item 1.13 – Does NWACC allow for a primary contractor and a subcontractor on the proposal (two separate entities/firms collaborating)? Vendor Answer 4 No, one contractor will need to complete the entire scope of the project. Vendor Question 5. Solicitation 2.2.A.1 and 2.2.A.2? Or can a subcontractor meet the requirements laid out in Solicitation 2.2.A.1 and 2.2.A.2? Vendor Answer 5. This would not apply since the project will be award to 1 vendor. Vendor Question 6. Solicitation Item 2.2.A – Does NWACC anticipate the awarded firm being on-campus during time under contract? Vendor Answer 6. While it would be a benefit for the firm to visit campus, the college is open to firms who believe this work can be completed remote and are available for Teams or Zoom meetings as needed. Vendor Question 7. Solicitation Item 2.2.2 – Is NWACC interested in benchmarking outside of NJCAA Region 2, such as Region 7, 23 or 16? Vendor Answer 7. Yes, NWACC is interested in benchmarking across other strong NJCAA regions as well as regions bordering region 2. Vendor Question 8. Solicitation Item 2.2.3 – Does NWACC offer any four-year degrees? Vendor Answer 8. No Vendor Question 9. Solicitation Item 2.2.4.C and 2.2.4.D – Has the institution defined admissions and/or revenue goals for athletics? Vendor Answer 9. No, but the impact of increased enrollment and revenue will be a factor in the decision-making process. The primary goal being that athletics will increase enrollment and therefore increase revenue. Vendor Question 10.
