ADDENDUM NO. 1 Issue Date: August 6, 2026 Request for Proposal AUDIO VISUAL SYSTEM FOR 151 SYNDER PLACE PHASE II RENOVATION PROJECT To: All Potential Respondents 1. The above-referenced Request for Proposal (RFP) is modified as set forth in this Addendum No. 1. The original RFP documents and any previously issued addenda remain in full force and effect, except as modified by this Addendum, which is hereby made part of the RFP. Respondent shall take this Addendum into consideration when preparing and submitting its Proposal. The City of Gastonia is issuing this Addendum to modify the schedule regarding the Deadline to Submit Questions. 2. The City mentions that a “Connector plate and associated cabling to for future presentation PC” is required. Can the city determine where the plate would need to be located? a. The specific location can be determined prior to installation, but generally adjacent to the projector screen without interfering with the projection. 1. The City mentions that a “Webcam with minimum 4K resolution and articulating motor” is required. Can the city determine where this would need to be located? a. The City looks to the vendor’s experience in recommending a location. Generally, in the front of the room. 2. The City mentions “Wireless microphones are to be included as part of the AV solution.” Does the City know how many wireless microphones are required? a. Minimum of three. 3. Does the City need the room to be capable of assisted listening? a. No. 4. The City mentions the system should have “Touchscreen control panel for all AV features”. Can the City determine where the touch screen should be located? a. The construction portion of the renovation project is currently anticipated by October 27, 2026. 6. Has a specific construction window for the AV portion of this project already been established? a. No, but the City anticipates completion of the renovation and occupation by city staff by December 1, 2026. Other Information Acknowledgement of this addendum is to be included in the proposal.
