Request for Proposal Published in LINK Reader on October 9, 2026 Location Kentucky Notice Text CAMPBELL COUNTY CAMPBELL COUNTY CITY OF NEWPORT, KENTUCKY INVITATION TO BIDDERS The City of Newport, Kentucky will receive sealed bids for Bid No. 2026-003, Monmouth Pavilion Design-Build, at the Office of the City Clerk, 998 Monmouth Street, 2nd Floor, Newport, Kentucky 41071, until 2:00 pm EST on Monday, November 9, 2026. Bids will be read immediately afterward in the 1st Floor Multi-Purpose Room at the same address. Late, emailed, and faxed bids will not be accepted. All bids must be sealed and clearly marked, Bid No. 2026-003 Monmouth Pavilion Design-Build . The work consists of the design and construction of an open-sided steel-frame market pavilion, approximately 62 by 85 feet, at 709 717 Monmouth Street. It includes structural engineering, foundations, steel framing, a standing-seam metal roof, and subgrade fill and grading within the footprint. Restroom and storage buildings, mechanical, electrical and plumbing work, and concrete flatwork are excluded. A $50,000 foundation contingency allowance is included in each bid. Bid documents may be obtained at no charge from the City Clerk at the address above beginning Monday, October 12, 2026, Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Eastern. No prebid meeting will be held. Questions must be submitted in writing by email to Brian Steffen, no later than 4:00 p.m. Eastern on Friday, October 30, 2026. Answers will be issued by addendum only. Bid security of 5 percent of the bid is required. The successful bidder must furnish 100 percent performance and payment bonds. The Kentucky reciprocal resident bidder preference (KRS 45A.490 to 45A.494) applies. Award will be made to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder.
