Description

Project Description: Project includes roadway pavement, pedestrian safety upgrades, select areas of sidewalk repair, metro and transit upgrades, channelization, and signal and drainage improvements. The roadway pavement involves removal and replacement of the asphalt overlay with select areas of concrete panel and base repair. The pedestrian safety upgrades include the installation of compliant curb ramps and concrete, paint-and-post, or plastic curb-and-post curb bulbs at select intersections to shorten crossing distances. Signal improvements include the installation of “no turn on red” signage and signal loop replacement. The metro and transit upgrades include the consolidation of stops and in-lane concrete bus pads at bus stops along Denny Way. For the purpose of the Bidder/Subcontractor List, this project includes rebar installation and electrical work.Engineer's Estimate: $4,800,000 to $5,200,000Project Location: This project is in the downtown area on Denny Way between 5th Avenue N and Howell Street
