California Uniform Public Construction Cost Accounting Act (CUPCCAA) South Orange County Community College District Notice Inviting Interested Contractors for the 2026 Informal Bid List South Orange County Community College District (“District”) invites all licensed contractors to submit the name of their firm to the District for inclusion on the District’s 2026 Calendar Year list of qualified bidders for the District’s informally bid projects (“Qualified Bidders List”) under the California Uniform Public Construction Cost Accounting Act (“CUPCCAA”). Per California Public Contract Code 22032, any Public Works project that is estimated to be below $220,000 is subject to the Informal Bidding Procedures set forth by the State of California Uniform Construction Cost Accounting Commission. Contractors that are interested in being on the Informal Bidding Contractors list are required to have a current license and are subject to verification through the Contractors State License Board. Responses to the pre-qualification application shall indicate each category for which the potential Bidder requests to be qualified. Additionally, pursuant to SB 854, no contractor or subcontractor may be listed on a bid or awarded a contract for a public works project unless registered with the Department of Industrial Relations (DIR) per California Labor Code section 1725.5. If you or your company would like to be placed on the South Orange County Community College District’s Informal Bidding “Qualified Bidders List”, please register as a vendor by clicking here: PlanetBids Vendor Portal Interested contractors must complete and electronically submit the District’s Informal Bidding Qualified Bidders List Application (“Informal Bidding Application”) to be considered for inclusion on the Qualified Bidders List. The Informal Bidding Application may be submitted electronically at any time during the 2026 Calendar Year. Within thirty (30) days of a contractor’s electronic submittal of a completed Informal Bidding Application, the District will notify the contractor of its inclusion on the Qualified Bidders List. Upon inclusion on the Qualified Bidders List, the District will provide all contractors on the Qualified Bidders List for the trade(s) required to complete an informally bid project with notice of informal bids.
