What information would the County like firms to provide in the “Required Certifications” section? “Required Certifications” is boilerplate language. We want to know you company can effectively complete all due diligence items whereby they are compliant with Golden LEAF Site Program – Due Diligence Overview. 2. Is there any form to be submitted for the RFQ? Not unless requested. 3. Is there a minority business goal for this contract? No, but the County encourages minority participation. Finance Department 4. Is the County looking to see a capacity or availability chart? While we did not specifically ask for this via RFQ, we would love to know one’s capacity. 5. Is the County wanting firms to submit an approach and schedule? While we did not specifically ask for this via RFQ, we would love to know the company’s approach and schedule. 6. Is the County wanting the Title Opinion to be certified? Ensure compliance with Golden LEAF Site Program – Due Diligence Overview Title Opinion and Supporting Documents Description: An opinion of title given to the applicant or another eligible entity with which the applicant is collaborating, regarding title to the property. Prepared by a licensed NC Attorney approved by at least one major title insurance company. Comments/Acceptable Information: In addition to the opinion, provide copies of instruments that support the opinion, e.g. deeds, estate files, restrictive covenants, copies of all exceptions, etc. If more than 2 years old, a new opinion of title will be required in most cases.
