Has the current contract gone full term? Answer: We do not have a current contract. We have relied on the State contract until now. 2. What is the total size or geographic scope of the service area? Answer: That will depend on event that causes activation. The entire County will be included in the contract. 3. What is the total mileage of roads with the scope of the service area? Answer: This is unknown. 4. Will the resulting contract include a guaranteed minimum payment to the vendor? Answer: No. Finance Department 5. Are there any superseding prior agreements that may impact this contract? Answer: No. 6. When/what was the most recent event that precipitated the activation of the existing or previous contract? Answer: Never activated previously. 7. Please confirm the due date for this procurement by providing it in response to answers and questions. Answer: The response for this RFP is due August 14, 2026, by 4:00 p.m. 8. If there was a previous solicitation for these services, what was its title, number, release date, and due date? Answer: There has been no previous solicitation for this service. 9. Why has this bid been released at this time? Answer: To receive responses from debris monitoring companies to represent and work on behalf of Harnett County. 10. When is the anticipated contract start date? Answer: There is no start date. The contract is a “stand by” contract in the event the service is needed. 11. When is the anticipated award date? Answer: Should be decided prior to December 31, 2026, but subject to change. 12.
