ADDENDUM NO. 1 Issue Date: July 17, 2026 Request for Proposal Yard Waste & Leaf Grinding To: All Potential Respondents The above-referenced Request for Proposal (RFP) is modified as set forth in this Addendum No. 1. The original RFP documents and any previously issued addenda remain in full force and effect, except as modified by this Addendum, which is hereby made part of the RFP. Respondent shall take this Addendum into consideration when preparing and submitting its Proposal. The City of Gastonia is issuing this Addendum to clarify pricing structure: All pricing should be based on the available (total) yardage on site. All proposals should be based on the estimated tons as detailed in the RFP (1,110 tons of yard waste, 4,000 tons of leaves, per grind, 4 grinds per year). Proposals with estimates based on other units will not be considered. Due to staffing changes, the Bid Tab from the previous RFP cycle is not immediately available. Staff continue to search documentation and will issue another addendum if the requested documentation is found. Other Information Acknowledgement of this addendum is to be included in the proposal.
