ADDENDUM NO. 1 Date: 06 NOV 2023 SDG Project No.: 2312 Project Name: Griggs Pool & Pool Pavilion, Package No. 2 The Bidding Documents are modified as follows: PART 1.00 DRAWINGS NO ITEMS INCLUDED PART 2.00 PROJECT MANUAL NO ITEMS INCLUDED PART 3.00 ADDENDA NO ITEMS INCLUDED PART 4.00 APPROVED MANUFACTURERS NO ITEMS INCLUDED PART 5.00 ATTACHMENTS NO ITEMS INCLUDED PART 6.00 GENERAL CLARIFICATIONS 6.01: Bid Date Extension A. The Bid Date is extended due to review comments from the GA Dept. of Health on the pool turnover rate. This will affect pump sizes, piping sizes, electrical & mechanical associated with the pool pumping system. Therefore, the Bid Date is extended to 12 DEC 2023 at 2 p.m.. After review comments from the Georgia Department of Health and consultation with the Owner & Design Team, the following Base Bid & Additive Alternate Pricing will be included in the Bid Package: Base Bid: Base Bid pool to be be bid with 6-hour turnover rate as designed without the slide or the ‘mushroom’ features and their associated piping, pumps, and electrical components. Additive Alternate No. 1: Increase the turnover rate of the pool to a 4-hour turnover. Revised Bid Documents for the 4-hour turnover rate to be issued on or about 22 NOV 2023. Additive Alternate No. 2: Add the ‘mushroom’ features! and its associated piping, pumps, and electrical components to the 4-hour turnover rated pool. Smith Design Group, Inc. Additive Alternate No. 5: Provide 7’-0” high decorative black metal fence & gates around the entire pool & pavilion as shown on the drawings.
