UOSA CONTRACT YPIU 1 INVITATION TO BID August 2026 Introduction The Upper Occoquan Service Authority (UOSA) invites qualified contractors to submit sealed Bids for the project known as “UOSA Yorkshire Park Interceptor Upgrade”, and also by the name “UOSA Contract YPIU.” Sealed Bids addressed will be received at the office of the Upper Occoquan Service Authority at the date and time given below. The sealed Bids then will be publicly opened and read aloud. The Owner will read only the Lump Sum Bid amount written in words. Any Bid received after the date and time specified will not be considered. The procurement process and the performance of the Contract shall be governed by the provisions of the Virginia Public Procurement Act (VPPA). Objective The YIPU Project includes the replacement of the existing sanitary interceptor from Old Centreville Road to the Flat Branch Pump Station along the Bull Run River. The Work includes, but is not limited to, removal of the existing sanitary sewer and replacing with new sewer main, sanitary bypass system, work across four stream crossings.
