ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS OWNER:                    City of Siloam Springs, Arkansas 410 N Broadway/P.O. Box 80 Siloam Springs, Arkansas 72761 PROJECT NAME:     Willows Addition Drainage Mitigation Project The City of Siloam Springs will be accepting sealed bids for Willows Addition Drainage Mitigation Project until 2:00 pm CST on March 25th, 2022, at the City Community Development Building, 410 N. Broadway, Siloam Springs, Arkansas. All interested parties may obtain complete construction plans and bid specifications from Brandy Rowbotham, at the address listed above upon the payment of ($50). Partial sets are not available. Electronic (pdf) files may be obtained at no cost by emailing a request to . Sealed bids shall be hand delivered to Brandy Rowbotham at 410 N. Broadway, Siloam Springs, Arkansas; or mailed to Brandy Rowbotham at P.O. Box 80, Siloam Springs, Arkansas 72761, in an envelope marked as follows: “Sealed Bid Enclosed – Willows Addition Drainage Mitigation Project”. The sealed bids must be received by Brandy Rowbotham prior to the above date and time. The scope of work includes drainage improvements to an existing detention pond, including approximately 1,800 cubic yards of excavation, grading, and construction of a concrete trickle channel. A pre-bid meeting is scheduled for all interested bidders on Friday, March 11th, 2022 at 2:00 pm, in the conference room of the Community Development Building. All interested contractors are strongly encouraged to attend. A State of Arkansas Contractor’s License is not required to bid on the project; however, no contractor shall submit a bid prior to submitting an initial application (which does not require a full audit) for licensure, and no construction contract shall be executed until the successful bidder has finished an appropriate license issued by the State of Arkansas Contractor’s Licensing Board. The City shall open and compare the bids and thereafter award the contract to the lowest responsible bidder, but only if it is in the opinion of the City that the best interests of the City would be served thereby.  The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive irregularities, and to postpone the award of the Contract for a period of time which shall not exceed 90 days from the bid opening date.
