Wildhawk Water Treatment Plant Recoating Project Phase 2

Description

In general, the work to be performed under this contract includes the furnishing of all labor, materials, and equipment for modifying the 1.5 MG ground level steel water storage tank no. 2’s internal roof support structure; and for the interior and exterior recoating of the 1.5 MG treated water storage tank no. 2 (built 2005), 0.165 MG backwash tank (built 2005), 0.080 MG sludge tank (built 2005); and other related facilities at a water treatment plant.  All facilities are owned by the Sacramento County Water Agency and are located at 10325 Wildhawk Drive, Sacramento, CA  95829.  The work includes, but is not limited to, inspection blast of interior inner ring roof rafter beams at center vent of the 1.5 MG treated water storage tank no. 2; replacement of the 1.5 MG treated water storage tank no. 2’s center column dollar plate with a new steel conical truss; cutback of inner ring roof rafter beams (approximately 12 to 18 inches) in the 1.5 MG treated water storage tank no. 2; removal and reinstallation of temporary tank opening door sheet on the 1.5 MG treated water storage tank no. 2; installation of two new roof vents atop the 1.5 MG treated water storage tank no. 2; installation of a perimeter guard rail atop the 1.5 MG treated water storage tank no. 2, 0.165 MG backwash tank and 0.080 MG sludge tank; surface preparation and coating application of the interior and exterior surfaces of the 1.5 MG treated water storage tank no. 2, the 0.165 MG backwash tank and the 0.080 MG sludge tank; exterior surface preparation and coating application of one (7-pump) reclaimed water booster station, all site hydrants, bollards and conduits; and, compliance with all health, safety, and other applicable federal, state or local regulations whose jurisdiction the facilities are located
