West Linda Comprehensive Safe Routes to School Project - RFP for Constructability Review & Construction Management Services

This Request for Proposals (RFP) solicits a proposal for consultant services to provide a constructability review of the plans and specifications and perform pre-construction services, construction management/inspection, and construction contract administration services to augment existing County construction staff as necessary for the West Linda Comprehensive Safe Routes to School Project, a State and locally funded project.The proposal with a statement of qualifications and detailed scope of work submitted in response to this RFP, will be used as the basis for selecting a consultant for the West Linda Comprehensive Safe Routes to School Project. These services will consist of two agreements, with a separate agreement for task 1and tasks 2-10.  The first task will be awarded with the intent to provide constructability reviews of the plans and specs and pre-construction services.   Task 1 services will be executed under the PE phase of the project and will commence immediately upon consultant selection.  Tasks 2-10 will consist of performing construction management for the construction of the West Linda Comprehensive Safe Routes to School Project.  The task 2-10 agreement will not be awarded until construction funds have been authorized, and after the successful CONSULTANT has passed a Caltrans pre-award audit; and has not changed any personnel or any sub-consultants submitted in the statement of qualifications for this RFP without written approval from the COUNTY.
