Mt San Antonio College is looking for a five-year agreement for the services of a water treatment firm that can provide a comprehensive, service-oriented water treatment program for both cooling tower, closed loop (chilled and hot water) and TES systems. The goal of the program is to provide a service-oriented water treatment program that meets or exceeds the following:Minimize or eliminate chemical handling and safety hazards to plant personnel.Provide professional, knowledgeable service personnel. Accurately monitor the program’s results and communicate appropriate recommendations with quantifiable, business-oriented justifications. All service reports shall provide the required data to indicate that the water treatment program is meeting the requirements as outlined later in the RFP.Thoroughly train plant personnel on the implementation and control of the water treatment programs, as applicable.Reduce the overall water and energy consumption through improved heat transfer efficiency and maximize cooling tower cycles. This is accomplished by improving the make-up quality and reducing system contaminations, as well as minimizing scale, corrosion, fouling, and microbiological growth, which create deposits on heat transfer surfaces.Minimize the repair and maintenance costs associated with the replacement and cleaning of equipment due to scale, corrosion, fouling, or microbiol
