Palmdale Water District (PWD, District) is seeking bids from qualified contractors for demolition of concrete pedestals, remove and salvage existing piping, generation system, valves, and other items as specified. The qualified contractor will be constructing new electrical, piping, installation of a District provided on-site sodium hypochlorite generation system, installation of District provided 35-ton brine storage tank, and other miscellaneous items to support the new system. The qualified contractor will work with District staff to maintain plant operation and coordinate with the District's vendor for startup and testing of the District provided generation system.
