Water Treatment Plant Maintenance Package ‘A’; Project No. 25-4261

Description

The Work to be performed under this Contract consists of constructing the Work shown in the Contract Documents and described below. This Work consists of all the improvements, and all related appurtenances, incidentals, and General Conditions. The Work is generally described as follows:The City wishes to undertake repair of certain existing facilities and equipment that are of a scope and complexity beyond regular operational maintenance. The City has accordingly hired Arcadis to prepare design and contract documents for bidding this work for completion by a suitable Contractor. Two maintenance packages were developed by the City and this RFP covers only the scope for Maintenance Package “A”.  The design of Maintenance Package “B” will be completed by others.Maintenance Package “A” at the Hollywood WTP will consist of the following six distinct work elements:Lime Silo RepairsReplace Silo Dust CollectorsReplace Sludge Drum Thickener and Repair BuildingStorage Tank Nos. 3 and 4 Valves ReplacementReplace Clearwell Sample LinesThe Work is located at the following address:City of Hollywood, Water Treatment Plant3441 Hollywood BoulevardHollywood, Florida 33021Contracting Method: Work shall be constructed under one prime contract.
