Waste Oil Collection and Recycling

Description

The City of Tucson is seeking proposals from qualified offerors for the Collection and Recycling of Waste Oil and Other Miscellaneous Items. The waste oil and filters to be recycled under this contract by the successful offeror shall be collected from City facilities. Collection location information and volume are stated in Attachment A. In addition to motor oil, the waste oil to be collected by the successful offeror may contain gear oil, hydraulic oil, transmission oil, water, and/or diesel. All quantities stated are approximate and the City makes no guarantees as to the actual amount of oil to be collected and recycled by the successful offeror. The collection frequencies stated throughout the solicitation are approximate and based on historical use. Due to equipment maintenance schedules and other influences, collection frequencies may vary. Unless an individual department chooses to establish a regular schedule for collection by the Contractor, all collections will take place on an as-needed basis.
