Waste Hauling Services

Description

The District is releasing this solicitation with the intent to award a single contract for Waste Hauling Services. The District is seeking a qualified and licensed Contractor to provide Waste Hauling Services during the San Diego County Fair (Fair) and other events throughout the year as needed. Services include, but are not limited to, waste hauling and recycling services for trash, cardboard, mixed recycling, and organics, as well as providing recycling data. Bidders must have the capabilities and qualifications to perform all of the services described in the IFB section entitled, “Scope of Work”.The District intends to award a single contract for this solicitation to the most responsive and responsible firm/individual offering the lowest bid. This solicitation is open to all eligible firms and/or individuals that meet the qualification requirements.The District may, at its sole and absolute discretion, reject any or all bids, or parts thereof, or reject any item or items herein, and waive any irregularities or technicalities. The District may re-advertise this IFB; postpone or cancel it, at any time, during IFB process. The decision as to who shall receive a contract award, or whether or not an award shall ever be made as a result of this IFB, shall be at the sole and absolute discretion of the District. The District reserves the right to award one or more contracts, or a part of a contract, on the bids submitted, either by award of all or some items to one Bidder, or by award of separate items or group of items to various Bidders, or to make an award without the consideration of option or renewal years, as the interests of the District may require.
