Weatherly Area School District 602 Sixth Street Weatherly PA 18255 Phone: 570-427-8681 Email: raricke@weatherlysd.org INVITATION FOR BIDS: USED VEHICLE PROCUREMENT Bid Number: Bid #, 2026-VEH-01 Date of Issuance: September 3, 2026 PART I: NOTICE TO BIDDERS The Board of School Directors of the Weatherly Area School District (the "District") invites sealed bids for the purchase and delivery of one (1) Used Heavy-Duty Pickup Truck (F250/equivalent or larger) with a plow or the ability to be outfitted with a plow package. All bids must be submitted on the enclosed District forms and must strictly comply with the terms, conditions, and technical specifications outlined herein. • Submission Deadline: September 18, 2026 at 1:00 PM EST. • Submission Location: Attn: Edward Rarick., Business Manager Weatherly Area School District, Business Office 602 Sixth Street, Weatherly PA 18255 • Envelope Marking: Bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope clearly marked on the outside: "USED VEHICLE BID – DO NOT OPEN". • Public Opening: Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud on the submission deadline date in the District Administration Conference Room. • The District reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, to waive informalities, and to award the bid in the best interest of the District. PART II: GENERAL TERMS & CONDITIONS 1. Tax Exemption: The School District is exempt from Pennsylvania State Sales and Use Taxes. The successful bidder shall exclude these taxes from their pricing structure. 2. Delivery Requirements: The bid price must include all shipping and delivery charges to 602 Sixth Street Weatherly, PA 18255. Delivery must occur on or before October 10, 2026 3. Inspections and Documentation: o The vehicle must be delivered with a current, valid Pennsylvania State Safety and Emissions Inspection sticker affixed. The bidder must provide a clear title, a completed odometer disclosure statement, and a Pennsylvania Bill of Sale. o The District reserves the right to physically inspect and test drive the vehicle prior to final contract award. 4. Required Documents: To be considered responsible, the vendor must include the following completed forms in their sealed envelope: o Completed Bid Proposal Form (Part IV) o Detailed Vehicle Specification Sheet o Signed Non-Collusion Affidavit o PART III: MINIMUM VEHICLE SPECIFICATIONS Bidders must indicate "Comply" or "Exception" for each requirement. Any exceptions must be explained on a separate sheet.
