Work shall include preparation of the existing asphalt surface and application of a tack coat using SS-1 asphalt emulsion to ensure proper adhesion between layers. Awardee shall then furnish and install 1½ inches of Type SP 9.5 asphalt, evenly placed and mechanically rolled to achieve proper compaction and a smooth, durable finished surface.
