INTRODUCTION 1.1. PURPOSE AND BACKGROUND Eastern Washington University (“EWU”) is initiating this Request for Proposals (RFP) to solicit Proposals from firms interested in providing student health services. EWU is seeking a Contractor to become the exclusive and long-term provider of student health services to its student populations on the Cheney and Spokane campuses. This one comprehensive contract would provide: health clinic services to the general student body; sports medicine services to EWU’s NCAA Division-I athletic program; and a convenient additional location in Spokane for the Spokane students to receive the same benefits as the Cheney based students.
