Description

ADDENDUM #1 Project: PM-26-13 2026-2027 Private Property Tree and Stump Removal project. City of Brooklyn Park Public Works Department 8300 Noble Avenue North Brooklyn Park, MN 55443 Addendum Date: October 21, 2026 The additions, revisions, omissions, corrections and clarifications contained herein shall be made to specifications for project named above, proposal submission scheduled for Wednesday: November 4, 2026 at 11:00 AM Local Time and shall be included in scope of work on proposals submitted. Proposing companies shall determine for themselves the work affected by Addendum items. Acknowledge receipt of this Addendum on the bottom of the bid proposal from schedule of prices page. Below are the questions received with answers. Questions from Bidders. 1. Can brush (clam truck loads) or logs be left at the 8301 Noble dump site? Answer: Logs and brush can be staged for processing at our materials management site located at 10201 West River Road. All materials must be removed by the end of the project. 1. Can you confirm all wood chipper chips generated for this project can be left at the 8301 Noble site? Answer: Yes 2. Tier 1 trees have good access, but if a bucket truck is needed for safe dismantling, can it be tiered up? Answer: No, it is assumed most if not all will need to be dismantled with a bucket or lift due to how dead these ash trees are at this point. Tier one assumes drive up access to dismantle. 3. It appears the goal is to do as many Tier 1 trees as possible, are Tier groups weighted differently? It appears that they each get equal influence by adding them all together to get Total Estimated Cost. Answer: They are not weighted differently. We know we have about 130 tier 1 ash removals as part of the ReLeaf Grant funded project that we have already identified. We do not know how many other side/back yard trees that homeowners will voluntarily choose to have the city remove and levy to their property taxes. Because of that unknown, we are just listing each quantity as 1 so we have a costper-tree to use. 4. To add to question 4, Section 7 Evaluation of bids makes it sound like the bid winner will go to whoever is lowest in the total for Quote A (Tier 1 trees).
