Vehicle Glass Tint and Replacement-Citywide

Description

The City of Tucson intends to establish an annual requirements contract with qualifying firm(s) to provide CITY WIDE VEHICLE GLASS REPLACEMENT at various metropolitan Tucson locations on an as needed basis. The majority of City vehicles will be serviced at the Thomas O. Price Service Center located at 4004 S. Park Ave. However, glass replacement could occur at other City Department locations including, but not limited to, the individual Tucson Fire Department Stations or locations where more than 20 City cars operate out of.To provide adequate coverage, multiple contract awards may be made.The City has various manufacturer brand vehicles including Chevrolet, Ford, Pierce, Toyota, Peterbilt, Autocar and Mack ranging from small passenger vehicles to commercial work trucks to fire engines. The city has approximately 2,900 vehicles, which also includes Fire Department vehicles. The total amount of annual City expenditures for automotive glass replacement exceeds $50,000, although the exact future expenditures are unknown.
