To meet a mandatory construction deadline for the project, the City of Rock Hill, South Carolina (“City”) is seeking competitive bids from qualified companies to provide the 500-HP variable frequency drives (VFDs) for the pumps at the Wildcat Creek Pump Station.The VFDs will be purchased in advance of the construction and will be installed by a General Contractor that will be selected by the City to complete the improvements to the pump station. The construction documents for the improvements to the pump station (i.e., construction plans and specifications) are currently being finalized, and the City will begin the process of advertising within the next 30-45 days for General Contractors to complete the proposed improvements.
