The Work consists of furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, supervision, permits, and incidentals necessary to install two 24-inch steel utility casings by trenchless methods at the US 90A and John Sharp Drive/Owens Road intersection in Sugar Land, Texas. The project includes approximately 360 linear feet of 24-inch steel casing for a future water line and approximately 303 linear feet of 24-inch steel casing for a future wastewater force main. The Work includes construction of bore and receiving pits, installation of the steel casings, capping and marking casing ends, utility coordination, traffic control, dewatering as required, excavation and backfill, protection of existing utilities and facilities, testing, inspection, and all other work necessary to provide complete and functional casing installations. The Contractor shall coordinate with the City of Sugar Land, TxDOT, Union Pacific Railroad, and affected utility owners, and shall comply with all permit requirements and applicable TxDOT standards for work within the State right-of-way. Upon completion of the Work, all disturbed areas, including pavement, sidewalks, drainage facilities, and landscaped areas, shall be restored to their original or better condition. The future carrier water line and force main are not included in this Contract and will be installed under a separate project.
