Has SFCC set a budget or not-to-exceed amount for this work, and what is the funding source? Answer: We do not have a set budget for the update and would rely on the architecture firm’s expertise to determine time and effort costs. Answer: In your response, Exhibit H is for an architecture firm’s cost proposal response, in the format your firm sees fit for your services. Question 2: FCI update approach (Sections 1.2.12 and 1.2.13, p. 4). Please confirm that SFCC will provide its existing FCI inventory from the 2021 master plan for the selected consultant to review and update, rather than requiring a new physical reassessment of every building. Answer: Yes, SFCC can provide a pdf copy. Under this approach, the consultant would verify the condition of buildings renovated or upgraded since 2021 and escalate deferred maintenance costs to current dollars. Yes, correct. Question 3: Please provide the list of buildings with changes since 2021 and the format of the existing FCI data, such as a spreadsheet or software platform. Answer: See building changes since 2021 below. SFCC does not have the excel spreadsheet or software, AI tools may help generate a workable spreadsheet with SFCC’s pdf version and/or SFCC may request the original version. Answer: Most physical spaces remain the same since the 2021 FCI, with no major renovations or changes. Question 4: Physical changes that could require reassessment: Answer: The biggest changes are to the emergency management campus wide (new fire alarm system and devices throughout), new stucco to main campus buildings (only Health & Science, TATC, West Wing, and some of 700’s remain to be re-stuccoed), new AHU HVAC/VAV’s were completed to the 200’s F&O area, 400’s, 500’s, and 600’s, and TATC outside air ERV (if this helps with deferred maintenance). Answer: SFCC is currently working on renovations to the 100’s (Student Hub), & 500’s Library – both currently in design or RFP for design.
