The County of Greenville is seeking sealed proposals for CONSTRUCTION OF UNIT 4 CELL 4 EARTHWORK AT TWIN CHIMNEYS LANDFILL, subject to the conditions and all provisions set forth herein and attached. Excavation of approximately 700,000 cy of material (soil and rock) is required for the future Unit 4 Cell 4 landfill cell. The excavated material is to be placed in on site stockpiles.This contract is to excavate the overburden soil in preparation for the liner construction. Unit 4 Cell 4 is adjacent to the active municipal solid waste landfill.
