U.S. 1 Utility Extensions

Description

Extension of County Potable water main along US1 (from Golden Bay to South Street), and extension of Potable water main along River Road (from Seminole Rest to Halifax Avenue), all located in the City of Oak Hill, Florida.  Work also includes replacement of a Sanitary Sewer force main crossing of US1 at West Brooks Circle.  Tie in of the replacement force main shall occur at night during a period of low flow as designated by Volusia County Utility Department.   The Contractor shall furnish all labor, superintendence, materials, plant power, light, heat, fuel, water, tools, appliances, equipment, supplies, and means of construction necessary for proper performance and completion of the Work. The Contractor shall obtain and pay for all necessary local building permits. The Contractor shall perform and complete the work in the manner best calculated to promote rapid construction consistent with safety of life and property and to thesatisfaction of the Engineer, and in strict accordance with the Contract Documents. The Contractor shall clean up the Work and maintain it during and after construction, until accepted, and shall do all Work and pay all costs incidental thereto. He shall repair or restore all structures and property that may be damaged or disturbed during the performance of the Work.
