The selected vendors will provide safe, secure, non-emergency transportation for MSDH patients and program participants. Eligible individuals will receive transportation to MSDH locations and authorized MSDH partner locations. Prior to authorizing an MSDH-funded ride, the vendors must verify whether the participant has access to transportation through the Division of Medicaid NET, another payer, governmental program, or another available source of transportation. The selected vendors must provide MSDH access to a healthcare transportation platform that is HIPAA-compliant for scheduling, monitoring and trip/billing formation. The selected vendors must provide riders with a HIPAA-compliant rideshare or similar platform for trip scheduling, planning, and tracking purposes. Drivers and vehicles utilized by the selected vendors must abide by minimum requirements provided in the solicitiation and contract.
