STATEMENT OF PURPOSEThe City of American Canyon is soliciting proposals from qualified firms or individuals ("Proposer") to prepare a comprehensive update to American Canyon’s traffic / transportation impact fee program, including preparation of an impact fee nexus study, updated capital improvement project list, fee schedule, implementation recommendations, and related administrative procedures.After recently updating its new General Plan, American Canyon’s objective is to modernize its existing AB 1600 traffic impact fee program into a legally defensible, transparent, and administratively practical transportation impact fee program that reflects current California law, including the Mitigation Fee Act, AB 602, SB 743 / VMT requirements, residential fee timing requirements, and best practices for impact fee administration.More details on the City's needs for this work are provided in the scope of work.Each qualified Proposer is to submit a proposal in conformity with the terms of this Request for Proposal ("RFP") by the deadline below ("Proposal").
