Transportation Development Act (TDA) and SACOG Financial Audits (RFP# 201920-09)

Description

The purpose of this Request for Proposal (RFP) is to solicit proposals from qualified auditors and to provide prospective auditors with guidelines for submission of proposals to the Sacramento Area Council of Governments for financial audit services to be performed.The Sacramento Area Council of Governments (SACOG) invites the submission of proposals by qualified accounting firms for financial and compliance audits of SACOG, Sacramento Regional Transit District (SacRT), Transportation Development Act (TDA) fund for SACOG and the four-county agencies, Transportation Development Act (TDA) claimants, and funds as described herein. The audit services are for three fiscal years ending June 30, 2020, June 30, 2021, and June 30, 2022; and an option of a two-year extension for fiscal years ending June 30, 2023 and June 30, 2024.Proposals may be submitted for any one, or any two,or all three of the numbered audits services identified below. The cost proposal should include yearly costs for first three years and additional cost for a two-year extension to be considered at SACOG's discretion.Audit services #1 and #2 will be funded by local funds while Audit Service #3 will be funded by federal funds. Therefore, Audit services #3 will be subject to DBE requirements per federal regulations.An estimated budget or "not to exceed" amount has not been declared for this project. Proposals will be evaluated based upon best value, per our Evaluation Criteria.
