Transit Operations Software

Description

This Request for Proposal is set forth to detail the requirements and conditions for providing micro transit, fixed-route AVL, enterprise asset management fleet, and software as a service for the Piedmont Authority for Regional Transportation (PART). The Proposer shall provide the required software and support and shall be qualified to furnish a complete and efficient solution including software and hosting. The deadline to submit proposals is November 13, 2026. The award will be granted for five (5) years with the option to extend the agreement on an annual basis up to a total of seven (7) years. The extensions are at the discretion of PART and will be based on annual expenses and the performance of the service. The Piedmont Authority for Regional Transportation reserves the right to accept or reject any submission that does not benefit the PART organization. PART also reserves the right to waive minor technicalities in the proposal. There are no guarantees of an award for the submitted proposals, and all expenses related to preparing a submission for this RFP are the proposer’s responsibility. It is anticipated that Federal Transit Administration (FTA), state, and PART funds will be utilized to support this project’s expenses. Therefore, applicable rules and regulations must be observed and are enclosed for your reference as Attachment A.
