In 2017, City’s Forestry Master Plan updated the City’s planting palette with more drought-tolerant and environmentally conscious landscaping that coincides with community input. In 2018, demonstration projects were deployed throughout the City to test the updated Master Plan’s viability. This project is intended to prepare landscape improvements design and contract document using the lessons learned from the demonstration projects and guidelines of the Master Plan on the center medians along Thousand Oaks Boulevard between Duesenberg and the easterly City limit near Via Merida.
