REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS RFP # 0327 Notice is hereby given that sealed proposals will be received in the office of the Purchasing Department at the City of Natchitoches Building, located at 1400 Sabine Street, Natchitoches, Louisiana, until 2:00 p.m. Central Time on the 1st day of July 2025 for the following: THE RESTORATION OF ELECTRICAL LINES AFTER A MAJOR STORM EVENT and will, shortly thereafter, be opened and the NAMES ONLY read aloud in the Office of Purchasing located at 1400 Sabine Street, Natchitoches, LA. Proposals received after the above specified time for opening shall not be considered and shall be returned unopened to the sender. Proposers will submit one (1) marked original proposal and one (1) marked exact copy as well as one (1) marked redacted copy omitting any documents marked Proprietary and Confidential in accordance with the requirements found in Special Conditions Article 2. Vendors may request the electronic proposal package from City of Natchitoches Department of Purchasing Attn: Edd Lee at 318-357-3870. Proposals must be signed in accordance with LRS Title 38:2212(B)5. A Corporate Resolution authorizing the person signing the proposal is required to be submitted with proposal. Failure to submit a Corporate Resolution with the proposal shall be cause for rejection of proposal. Copies of the specifications are available at the Purchasing Office located at 1400 Sabine Street, Natchitoches, LA 71457. Telephone number (318) 357- 3870 (Attn: Edd Lee). Proposal specifications shall be available until twentyfour (24) hours before the proposal opening date. No vendor may withdraw his proposal for at least forty-five (45) days after the time scheduled for the opening of proposals. Each proposal shall follow the instructions listed in the RFP regarding submittal of their proposal. Proposals will be evaluated by the Purchaser based on the evaluation criteria outlined in the Information for Proposers. The City of Natchitoches reserves the right to reject any and all proposals or any portions thereof, to waive informalities and to select the material that best suits its needs. Contractors shall be licensed for the classification of “ELECTRICAL WORK”. Proposals which have not bid in accordance with the requirements, shall be rejected and shall not be read. Additional information relative to licensing may be obtained from the Louisiana State Licensing Board for Contractors, Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
