CONTROLLER DAVID CAPOLETE November 17, 2025 Dear Valued Customer, The City of Norwalk Beacon Street Sanitary Sewer Project in the city has commenced, The relocation of the First district's water main is necessary and will be done by a contractor working for City of Norwalk,WPCA. Please be informed that there will be temporary interruptions to water service in your area from November 19 through December 1, 2025. Notice will be provided prior to any service interruptions unless an emergency situation is encountered. Shutdown will begin at 9:00AM Restoration will begin at 4:00PM The First Taxing District personnel will flush the system to eliminate any discoloration and air from the line after the work has been completed. Should you encounter discolored water, we recommend that you run your faucet using only COLD water from the highest point in your home until the hazy or discolored water is cleared. We apologize for any inconvenience that this may cause. To keep our customers informed about scheduled/unscheduled work, FDWD will add daily locations where construction work will occur to our website.
