Testing, Maintenance, & Repair of Underground Fuel Storage Tanks

Description

The City of Santa Monica (City) owns/operates 8 underground storage tanks at six locations within the city. The City is requesting bids from qualified contractors to perform Annual Monitoring Certification testing, Vapor Recovery/CARB testing, Designated Operator responsibilities, employee training and maintenance and repair for all City-owned tank facilities in accordance with local, state, and federal requirements.The City is looking for a contractor(s) that will satisfy the various regulatory requirements associated with operation of each tank system. The City, at its sole discretion, may award this contract to a single contractor or portions of the contract to multiple contractors. You are not required to submit a bid for each category to be considered. Each contract element will be evaluated separately and the final contract may be awarded to various contractors for one or more of the contract elements. In the event a contractor is selected to provide more than one service, it is important to be aware that the technician(s) providing Designated Operator services shall not act as primary technician for other testing, certification, and/or maintenance/repair services.
