Temporary Clerical Services

Description

The County of Sacramento is seeking Request for Proposals (RFP) from qualified vendors to provide temporary clerical services. This RFP aims to establish multiple contracts for staffing solutions to meet our short-term administrative needs. We invite interested parties to submit proposals that demonstrate their expertise in delivering efficient and reliable clerical support.The County currently employs over 12,000 regular positions across 30 different departments. However, there is often an urgent demand for contract temporary personnel to handle various tasks. Since 1992, the County has partnered with temporary service agencies to provide clerical personnel services. The resulting contracts will be accessible to all County Departments and Agencies, allowing them to choose vendors as needed. There is no guaranteed purchasing volume for any vendor(s) utilized under this contract resulting from this RFP. Given the multi-year nature of this need, County usage may fluctuate based on changing economic conditions and budget allocations.The initial contract period is estimated to be March 1, 2025 through February 28, 2026, with the option to extend for up to six additional one-year increments through February 29, 2032, pending Sacramento County Board of Supervisors approval. The contract will be subject to the same terms and conditions upon execution by the Contract and Purchasing Services Division.This opportunity does not cover temporary personnel support provided to the County through separate contracts, such as those for Information Technology Staffing, Human Resources Specialists, Student Interns, or medical needs.
