TDA Triennial Performance Audits FY 21-22 - 23-24

Description

The Santa Barbara County Association of Governments (SBCAG) is the designated Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) and the Regional Transportation Planning Agency (RTPA) for the County of Santa Barbara.  In accordance with California Public Utilities Code (PUC) Section 99246, SBCAG plans to contract for performance audits of its activities and those of the transit operators to which SBCAG allocates Transportation Development Act (TDA) funds.The Santa Barbara County Association of Governments, herein referred to as “SBCAG,” is soliciting proposals from qualified consultants to develop and deliver Triennial Performance Audits for fiscal years 2021/22 through 2023/24 for the following 10 agencies; SBCAG, Santa Barbara Metropolitan Transit District (MTD), Santa Maria Regional Transit (SMRT), including the Breeze, City of Lompoc Transit (COLT), including the Wine Country Express, Santa Ynez Valley Transit (SYVT), Santa Barbara County, Guadalupe Transit, Clean Air Express, Easy Lift Transportation, and Santa Maria Organization of Transportation Helpers (SMOOTH).Please note that the County of Santa Barbara is a TDA recipient but does not operate its own transit service.  The County passes through much of its TDA allocation to other operators to serve the unincorporated county.SBCAG has estimated the cost of services at $140,000, though proposals are not bound by the estimate.
