The Town of Manchester is seeking a Grant Manager to assist in the management of the allocated funds for the ARPA Sustainability Grant Program. Details on the program are below.This grant program seeks to enhance overall sustainability of Manchester Connecticut in support of recovery and resilience to current and future pandemics through community-based initiatives and institutions. This grant program seeks to support organizations such as:Not-for-profit small businesses assistance organizationsYouth development organizations, with a priority for catch-up development for educational and/or social developmentOrganizations that build social capital (norms, trust, and networks) through meaningful engagement and representation, with a focus on underserved communities and those with higher social vulnerabilityOrganizations that value and prioritize environmental sustainability and climate change mitigation and adaptation.Eligibility is limited to non-for-profit institutions based in Manchester, CT. Partnerships with entities outside of Manchester, CT may be utilized, however the primary applicant must be based in Manchester, CT and the benefits described in the application must be primarily focused on residents and organizations in the Town of Manchester. Funding applications will be accepted for amounts up to $50,000. The total funding available is estimated to be $500,000. Approximately $50,000 will be set aside for mini-grants of $5,000 or less. This set-aside is subject to change based on number of grants under each category, and total funds available at the time of award.
