Suburban Bike Share & Mobility Services Challenge (RFP# 2018-0022)

Description

SACOG is soliciting proposals from established firms, start-ups, and nonprofits to launch shared mobility services including, but not limited to, bike share in three specific suburban cities within the six-county Sacramento region – Elk Grove, Folsom, and Rancho Cordova. While these three suburban city partners are particularly interested in launching bike share systems, vendors are encouraged to submit proposals for other innovative mobility solutions that have the potential to reduce car trips in suburban parts of the region.This Suburban Bike Share & Mobility Services Challenge will allow Partner Agencies (50 Corridor Transportation Management Association, Elk Grove, Folsom, and Rancho Cordova) to select the consultant(s) best suited to meet each city's unique transportation challenges as outlined in this Challenge’s scope of work and scoring criteria.Once consultant(s) have been selected each will have the opportunity to contract with Partner Agencies and/or SACOG depending on the nature of the proposal submitted. Partner Agencies are interested in entering one-year contract(s) with the option to extend in single year intervals to a total of five years, if the project(s) is deemed successful.
