Street Sweeping Services

Description

The City of Banning (“City”) is seeking a qualified company (“Contractor”) to provide street sweeping services. Services shall result in the removal of dirt and debris from the City’s streets creating a public health benefit through the elimination of accumulated debris which may harbor insects and rodents or create public safety risks. Street sweeping services will also eliminate roadside debris, pollutants and sediments that might otherwise enter the storm drain assisting the City in complying with the requirements of its National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) permit.Street sweeping services shall include servicing arterial, collector, bike lanes and residential streets on a monthly basis. (Additionally, the Contractor shall be required to respond to special requests should there be hazards posing threat to public safety, such as debris creating traffic issues or broken glass. Street sweeping services may also be schedule for special events.)
