NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City of Delano (“City”) is accepting sealed proposals (bids) in the City Clerk’s office at 1015 Eleventh Avenue, Delano, California 93215, up to the hour of 2:00 P.M. on August 27, 2026, for the STPL-5227(077) - 2026 Cecil Avenue, Garces Highway, High Street, and Girard Street Pavement Resurfacing and Rehabilitation Project. There will be a mandatory pre-bid job walk/meeting scheduled on August 13, 2026, at 10:00 A.M. at 1015 Eleventh Avenue, Delano, CA, 93215. General Description of Work: The work shall consist of pavement resurfacing and rehabilitation CAPE Seal but not limited to Chip Seal, Slurry Seal, deep patch, and installation of traffic striping, pavement markers, markings, and other miscellaneous improvements and appurtenances as described in the project plans and specifications. The work shall be performed at various streets in Delano such as: Cecil Avenue between Wasco Pond Rd and Albany Street, Garces Highway between Casey Avenue and Lytle Avenue, Girard Street between County Line Road and 18th Avenue and High Street between County Line Road and 21st Avenue. Estimated Project Cost Range: $ 1,100,000.00 to $ 1,150,000.00
