SULLIVAN’S ISLAND STITH PARK – DRAINAGE IMPROVEMENTS PREPARED FOR: TOWN OF SULLIVAN’S ISLAND T&H PROJECT NO. J-32991 ADDENDUM NO. 1 April 3, 2026 TO: ALL HOLDERS OF RECORD OF CONTRACT DOCUMENTS Acknowledge receipt of this addendum by inserting its number and date in the Bid Form. Failure to do so may subject the bidder to disqualification. This addendum forms a part of the Contract Documents. It modifies them as follows. PART I – QUESTIONS & RESPONSES 1. 2. 3. 4. Question – Will the road between the earthen mound and wastewater plant be available for equipment and material deliveries? Response – yes, this road will be available but must coordinated with the Town’s water & sewer department. Anticipate restrictions on timing, duration, and such. Question – Will the Contractor be responsible for the cost of QA/QC testing? Response – yes, the contractor is responsible. See specifications for additional information. Question – Will the Contractor be responsible for the cost of weekly SWPPP inspections? Response – yes, the contractor is responsible for the SWPPP reviews. Question – Do you want to give the bidders a line item for the existing drainage demo or should they bury it elsewhere? Response – A separate bid line item for drainage demolition will not be added to the bid form. The cost should be included in other applicable items. Other aspects of the project remain unchanged.
