REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS Notice is hereby given that proposals will be received by the City of Edmonds, Washington for: State Lobbying Services By submitting a proposal as a single PDF document by email to Beckie Peterson, City of Edmonds, at beckie.peterson@edmondswa.gov. Date: Time: Friday, August 21, 2026 4:30 pm Upon the City’s discretion, proposals submitted after the due date and time may not be considered. Proposers accept all risks of late delivery of mailed proposals regardless of fault. Detailed Request for Proposal (RFP) information including general information, requested services, proposal requirements, and evaluation process is available from Beckie Peterson in the Mayor’s Office, located at the above address or by calling (425) 775-2525. The RFP is also availableon the City’s website at: https://www.edmondswa.gov/doing_business/bids_rfp_s_and_rfq_s The City has complete discretion in the evaluation of the proposals. The City reserves the right to reject any and all proposals and to evaluate proposals even when the information provided is not complete. This RFP does not obligate the City to pay any costs incurred by respondents in the preparation and submission of a proposal. Furthermore, the RFP does not obligate the City to accept or contract for any expressed or implied services. City of Edmonds Request for Proposals for State Lobbying Services SCOPE OF SERVICES AND DELIVERABLES The City of Edmonds seeks to retain the services of a state lobbyist consultant with significant demonstrable experience in lobbying and advocacy at the state level. The lobbying consultant/firm must have existing relationships with state elected officials, government agencies and staff, executive staff, and industry lobbyists. The lobbying consultant/firm should have a familiarity with Edmonds and Snohomish County and a broad awareness of the issues and needs of the City.
