Standard Specifications and Details Update

Description

The City of West Sacramento is seeking assistance in updating our Standard Specifications and Details. The last comprehensive update of this document was performed in 2002. The current document is comprised of Design Standards, Private Development Standards, General Conditions, Construction Specifications and Standard Details. Each Section is in need of updating in order to align with State and Federal guidelines, industry standards, materials advancements, and lessons learned and preferences of City staff. Multiple Specific Plans for individual neighborhoods within the City have also been adopted since the last update. Each of these Plans include area specific development guidelines which will be incorporated into this update. The City has also updated our Master Utility Plans for Water, Sanitary Sewer and Storm Drainage. The update will include reconciliation with those documents. This Contract will include all editing and drafting necessary to deliver an updated and complete document. It will also include Consultant attendance at various Community, Commission and City Council meetings
