Staff Development Training

Description

The purpose of this Request for Proposal (RFP) is to solicit sealed proposals to establish a contract for Staff Development Training. The City of Chesapeake recognizes that one of the keys to the City’s future success is its ability to attract, develop, and retain high performing employees. Particularly, employees in the City’s Leader Development program must learn the skills and abilities to reach strategic objectives, develop and grow employees’ competencies, and provide a work environment that maximizes employee engagement and fosters inclusion and belonging.   The City of Chesapeake seeks a qualified firm to develop and facilitate staff development content aligned with the City’s Courteousness, Attentiveness, Responsiveness, Empowerment, and Stewardship (CARES) standards and mission to make Chesapeake an exceptional place to live, learn, work, farm, and play while being fiscally responsible and sustainable. The contractor is expected to create training materials that complement the city’s values and contribute to the cultivation of strong leadership skills essential for fostering a culture of innovation and operational excellence.
