PTC intends to negotiate and procure a Sole Source Procurement from: Gaumard Scientific 14700 SW 136th Street Miami, FL 33196 • • ONE (1) Code Blue III Adult with OMNI 2 Advanced Life Support Training Simulator, Medium Manikin One (1) NOELLE S550 Maternal Care Patient Simulator with OMNI Manikin Gaumard is the Sole Source authorized source for Code Blue III Simulators. Code Blue III Simulators are heavily used by Emergency Management Service (EMS) departments for training in the Piedmont Technical College service area and training on this equipment is what has been requested by local agencies. The Code Blue III Adult with OMNI 2 Advanced Life Support Training Simulator, Medium manikin is a one of a kind product It monitors CPR quality metrics in real-time and has a wireless control interface. What sets it apart from other simulators is the ability for variable cyanosis intensities that simulate hypoxic events and effective interventions, which is critical to the Paramedic program. NOELLE S550 Maternal Care Patient Simulator with OMNI manikin is the only birthing manikin that includes all types of birthing delivery, including shoulder dystocia and C Section delivery. This training manikin allows for real time feedback due to the pull force applied to the fetus as well as episiotomy repair. These simulators have been specifically chosen for compatibility with the colleges’ existing training equipment for interconnectivity and teaching consistency in the classroom. Instructors have extensive training on this equipment, and technical expertise is available locally. Piedmont Technical College believes this is the only vendor capable of providing this product with these characteristics. This notice of Intent to Sole Source is to determine the availability of alternate vendors capable of providing the products/services outlined herein. Estimated Value: $ >$25,000 but <$250,000.
