Whitesville Road Soccer Complex - Expansion Project Artificial Sports Turf System - RFP (4/24/2025) 1700 Whitesville Road, LaGrange, Ga 30240 Scope of Work - Quote/Bid #1 – Artificial Sports Turf System:                  The overall project includes the construction of three (3) new full size (240’x360’) soccer fields (see attached Site Plan). The project area for the new artificial sports turf system(s) shall be 260’x380’ per field. The base Quote/Bid #1 shall include the scope of work for the artificial sports turf system(s) for all three (3) new soccer fields. Provide and install all required/necessary materials, supplies, labor, equipment, machinery, etc. for the complete installation of an artificial sports turf system(s), per the scope of work. Contractor shall be a Certified Field Builder (CFB) with current certification(s) and at least five (5) years’ experience. Project area will be graded to .01 of a foot subgrade by Troup County, prior to installation. Contractor shall be responsible for final laser grading the project area. The artificial sports turf system shall include 6” of porous stone, 4” of which shall be #57 stone with the remaining 2” consisting of #89 stone. Contractor shall install a minimum of 8”x8” concrete curbs. Project area shall have a new field drainage system including an 8” perforated HDPE collector line along the perimeter of the field(s) designed by the contractor and approved by Troup County, prior to installation. Crown on the field(s) shall be at ½ percent. Artificial Sports Turf Field(s) shall consist of Rhino Blend 46oz with sand and rubber. Artificial Sports Turf Field(s) shall be painted with football, soccer, and college lacrosse lines. Artificial Sports Turf Field(s) shall be alternating shades of green every 5 yards. Contractor shall provide the proper maintenance equipment to Troup County upon completion of the project. Provide a copy of all product warranties and the contractor’s written warranty covering all labor, installation, and workmanship. Clean-up & dispose of all construction debris and/or trash. Protect surrounding areas from damage & debris. Submit a Quote/Bid to include all required/necessary materials, supplies, labor, equipment, machinery, etc. for the complete installation of an artificial sports turf system(s), per the scope of work.
